It has been reported elsewhere that in a fit of pique the decision makers at Colorado Ski Country USA decided to remove all the Vail Resorts, Inc resorts from this years map of Colorado’s ski resorts.
Vail had earlier withdrawn from membership in Colorado Ski Country USA, thereby reducing Colorado Ski Country USA dues income by almost half. In really stupid retaliation, Colorado Ski Country USA removed the Vail Resorts, Inc’s resorts (Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone) from this year’s map.
I guess Colorado Ski Country USA would rather have revenge then have Vail Resort’s $1.4 million in dues again anytime soon should Vail ever be tempted to rethink their withdrawl from Colorado Ski Country USA.
