Winter’s Back!
March 25th, 2009Posted in Skiing in the Tetons
Maybe the calendar says its Spring, but Mother Nature is back in winter mode this morning. Decent snow fell across the Tetons last night with Grand Targhee scoring the biggest hit with 12″-13″ being reported this morning. Over on the east side of the range Jackson is reporting half a foot.
It appears this dose of winter was generously widespread. A few hours to the south Alta got 10″ and up north of here, Bridger got 8″. Happily for those of us living in the Teton Valley, Grand Targhee snagged the most this time. It’s about time! Too often this winter the storms have been a bit skimpy on the west side of the Tetons. It’s been a long time between dumps of a foot or more.
Let’s see, how many things was I planning to do today that will have to wait until tomorrow
